Funny you say oil companies don't have Alaskans best interest at heart! Do you know how much money they pour into the community? Oh and because your state doesn't pay state taxes, you can also thank oil companies as they produce oil to make revenue for the state so you don't have to pay taxes! Also, the Alaska resident payments you get...I'm sure come partially from OIL companies as well!!

My mom was born in Alaska not sure what city but she was a baby when my grandparents said lets move to Nebraska and now south in Alabama mobile area 😂

Europe is pet friendly but most people don't FLY with pets - that's a north American thing. Here, we drive. So pet relief facilities are almost non-existent.

I just came outta the Sierras for the first time and my pedal was very squishy by the time we got to the bottom. I wasnt really thinking about it as we came down then all of a sudden I was pushed deep into its travel. Brakes still worked good but it did cause me some sweat as the friction point kept moving down, lol. Next time Ill be more prepared.

Well, at last wide open spaces and roads to travel. Honestly, I had missed that. As far as the descending from the "penthouse", you just found out why, I prefer sleeping inside the car and carry all the not so often used items on the roof case. Wish you a very pleasant rod trip, AND I have some extremely nice suggestions when you come back at this side of the World.

It looks like it was a successful trip, at least you made it to your destination with no breakdowns. I'm not sold on the rooftop tent but if it works for you great. Keep the good stuff coming guys.
